Didn't get a chance to wash the car much at all last year in the fall, with the exception of a few car wash places. I put the wheels in storage when I put the snow tires on so they haven't been driven on for a while. I went through another car wash today, and wanted to detail some of the dust off the wheels and noticed there were scratches all over them. Not deep gashes, but scratches in the clear coat, which were more noticeable due to the polished look of the aluminum.
Has anyone had a similar experience? It looks like the damage was from road debris, but I'm going to need to find a way to buff and polish those swirls out. Has anyone had any experience with this?
