I can't believe the jump in gas mileage you get after about 6k miles. I remember in break in, I got all excited when I would get 30 mpg. Now, I regularly get above 33 mpg. Oh and 90% of my driving is done in the city!
My latest jaunt:
Averaged 46.6 mpg
Temperature: About 83 F

A/C and fan were off. Front windows were down a bit. Oh and did I mention, this was IN THE CITY (stop lights and everything)!! If there wasn't traffic behind me, I could have easily surpassed 50.
I say this not to brag, but I just got through watching a ConsumerReports video that bashed the Cruze's real world fuel economy, proclaiming that the Mazda3 gets better gas gas mileage. I would put a million dollars down on any Mazda3 that could get the gas mileage I'm getting.
If anyone from CR is reading: THIS board is full of real world mpg estimates you claim to be getting after driving a car for 50 miles. People are easily surpassing EPA estimates after break in.
