Just wanted to say we hello, and thanks for all the advice. We picked up our New Eco last night. Hopefully she will run a long long time. With out any major issues. We are starting off on the wrong foot though. We have been in 2 loaner cruzes for the last 40 days waiting on ours to be built. So I think we have a good grasp on what to expect. We shall see how the dealer takes care of us this morning.
1. The steering wheel stitching was apparently faulty as it had a few loose threads, upon closer inspection they were cut/torn and have begun to unravel exposing the insides of the wheel. Not a big deal but not thrilled about having the steering wheel pulled off a car with 33 miles. If I found it after driving it for 5 minutes you would have thought QC might have found it.
2. Our Turn signal switch is messed up. Press up nice and smooth in to detent, push down and it sounds like the dash is vibrating loose.
3. Drivers door is slightly out of adjustment so it stick out slightly farther when closed. This is causing the door not to close when pushed shut, almost need to close 1970's style car doors. Easy adjustment should fix this.
4. The shifter knob has a sharp piece of material that digs into your hand, Should be an easy replacement.
5. The Pioneer radio sucks balls, Can't hear any words from the back of the car and the bass is overpowering even when its set to -4, and the EQ is adjusted. (after a search of the forum apparently it just sucks)
6. The car is hunting and wandering on the road when cruising above 45 mph's It feels like she is a little tipsie, Not nice and true in a straight line. Definitely does not drive nor handle like the eco demo we had or the LT. So not sure what the issue is going to be here but she is off the dealer in about 5 minutes. Wish us luck.
