I have a 2012 Chevy Cruze. This past Tuesday a light came on that I thought was the "check engine" light. I looked in the manual that came with my car and it is the On-Board Diagnostic Second Generation (OBD II) light. According to the manual this light comes on if the car is turned on but w/o the engine running, just to let you know that it's working. Once you turn the engine on it should go out and if it does not, then the OBD should be serviced. I drove to work, turned the car off, went back out at 2 pm, and the light was off. The light hasn't come on again until this morning, Saturday. Also, in addition, I heard a fan or something that is running that I've never heard before. When I heard it Tuesday it did eventually turn off. And I heard it again this morning. So I don't know if this "fan" and the OBD are related but I am a little nervous about it. I have a little over 28k miles on it. Anyone have any suggestions about that? I just had a 25k mile tune-up a week ago.
