Rear replacement speakers

Hi...first post so bear with me. Have a '11 Cruze RS with the Pioneer sound system. Apparently the rear deck speakers only act as a subwoofer?
Any recommendations for a nice 3-way (if that's what they're still called!) to get some sound from back there? Thanks!
