Allright so currently I have 165k miles on this 12' cruze eco 6sp mt. This is the 2nd time I have replaced the transmission fluid. I originally replaced the fluid at 110k which I realize I should have replaced it sooner. I just replaced the fluid again after only 55k miles which is the interval I plan on using from now on. I wlil say the condition of the fluid after 55k was much better then when i replaced it at 110k this is obvious. Originally when I replaced it the fluid had a very small amount of a milky apperance and 2 or 3 small shavings chunks a little smaller then a bb. This fluid after 55k appeared to be in great condition and was a rich brown color. Shifting this transmission has been smooth and trouble free. I use OEM fluid.
I really dont have much information to provide other then the fact that ive been extremely satisified with the performance and quality of the transmission. After 165k miles the transmission feels the same as it did when it was new and still shifts the same as well. Shifts are still firm and fluid. Even the clutch is holding up and im still able to accelerate from 1st without using the throttle just by slowly releaseing the clutch. Im not sure if thats a way to measure the durablity of the clutch but regardless its still working as intended.
