Ive been trying forever to get cruise working on my cruze (sadly ironic), and i thought if i buy a 2012 switch it would work.
It didnt.
So it just occurred to me that MAYBE the wiring order in the radio/cruise to clockspring connectors is different somehow?
Does anyone know if they differ?
I would check myself but im out of town and only have my new wheel which is installed at the moment.
I have a 2012 or 2013 leather wheel with cruise, and my dealer flashed the cruise update (supposedly, they charged me for it) but it didnt work.
They said that the switch is fine and the clockspring is fine but they arent communicating for some reason.
The thing is, my (preinstalled) radio controls work fine with the old and new wheel so i dont know.
I would be really happy if i just had to swap a short bit of wire to get it working, and if it doesnt ill take it to another dealer with the 2012 switch installed and have them reflash it again and if it works then the other dealer will owe me about $150 and will never get my business again.
Thanks for the help!
