Not sure how many of you know what a "Yankee Swap" is. But it's an alternative to making a list for someone for Christmas. Basically everyone purchases a single gift, it then gets wrapped up and put under the tree and then numbers are drawn based on the number of gifts that were purchased. You then select the gift and basically have the option to trade with someone who has opened their gift.
Best Number to have is the Number one...worst number to have is Number 2
My family (Minus the Kids) does a Yankee swap for the adults. The limit is $50 and their are 6 people in the swap this year. 3 men and 3 woman. I'm trying like crazy to come up with a non-gender specific gift and we try not to do gift cards, because they are boring.
Help me out...give me some ideas.
