The wife and I will be going on a cruise(after being in a Cruze lol) in Feb. We are driving from Detroit to the Orlando Area, Port Canaveral to be exact. Google Maps gives 2 options it says are basically the same distance and time.
OPTION 1: I-75 straight down all the way to basically Orlando then hop on the Florida Turn Pike (528).
OPTION 2: Smaller 4 lane Rds through Ohio(23, 33) then onto I-77 for a long ways through West Virginia, Virginia, NC, SC until GA when I would jump on I-95 the rest of the way down.
Im confused cause there can't be any way that option 2 could be as quick as I-75 where I should be able to haul some butt down?
