Transmission leak?

I'm out shoveling my driveway and I noticed these drops on the snow.

I jack the car up and didn't see any puddles on the floor of the garage, aside from the snow.

So I decided to crawl farther under and see what the heck is going on and then I find this, I never knew trans fluid to turn black so I'm a little confused here.

The photos are a little large and probably not the best quality so I apologize for that ahead of time.

Any ideas? I can't see where it would be coming from, and is there a way to check transmission fluid levels on the Cruze? I didn't see a dip stick...
