One of the theories that makes a lot of sense is that hot coolant exits the radiator under pressure, where it can't boil, and then begins to boil in the reserve tank, creating vapors that end up leaking out and enter the passenger compartment through the heat ducts.
I'm untuned, but as far as i know, tuned cars are generally set up to run about 20* cooler than stock, which would be below the boiling point of dex-cool.
Are any tuned cars having the issue with coolant smell/windshield film?
Did anyone have the issue, get a tune, and it solve the problem?
