This is the softplug I have been talking about behind the pulley. It can't be seen without removing the water pump pulley. My car was also leaking from one of the top bolts on the pump. This is the second cruze we have discovered this on. But we have only had three or four in for a smell or coolant loss, and didnt know to look behind the pulley at first. I can not stress enough if you are having a smell/loss of coolant issue, insist that your dealer look behind the pulley.
