Resonator delete, not muffler

Just wondering, was debating on doing a resonator delete, but leaving the muffler. Just a few questions.

Being Canadian will it affect getting my E-Test done?
Does anyone have a sound / youtube clip of just a resonator delete. Did a search but most have the exhaust done also.
Also is it worth getting done, is there a noticible sound difference?

I have a Intake on its way, but wanted to get lil more sound from under the car also.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
