2014 cruze, 1.8, 45,000 miles . I have been getting these codes with no power or MPG changes noticeable.

P00C7 baro sensor, MAP sensor, turbo boost sensor
P0236 turbo boost sensor
P0227 barometric sensor

I inspected air hoses and clamps etc. All seems good. Does anyone have an idea which sensor is bad ? I dont want to carpet bomb the car with all three. Does anyone have any experience with this problem ? No tunes, car is stock.

Thanks,
Scott

Rattling Noise

I have a 2011 Cruze 1.4L Turbo. Lately I've noticed a rattling noise when I am slowing down until I get to 20 mph and below, then the noise goes away. I checked my transmission fluid level. It is fine. Anyone else have this problem, or know what might be the cause?

Car runs rough and blows fan fuse at idle and low speeds

Been having an issue with my A/C at low speeds and idle. I notice my car runs really rough at stop signs with AC on sometimes feels like its about to break down. When this happens it blows the J30 fuse for the Radiator Fan and then my AC will not blow cold air. Ive replaced the fuse and relay a few times and it doesn't do the trick. I've also replaced the radiator fan and shroud. Has anyone run into this issue? I'm driving a 2011 Cruze 1LT 1.4 Turbo

Edit:MOD can you move this to GEN 1 Powertrain? I had too may tabs open :( My apologies

Howdy folks!

I've owned a Chevy Cruze for the better part of the last year or so. It was my grandfather's, and when he passed he left it to my father. When I finally became financially established I offered to buy it from him, and after negotiating a loan and price I ended up with a slick 2012 Chevy Cruze LS, gold-colored. I had always owned cars over half my age (previous was a 2000 Chrysler LHS, before that a 2001 Dodge Intrepid), so owning something newer than 2010 was like upgrading to the starship Enterprise.

I'm on my own, and would like to get more familiar with my car because it's the first one I've felt like was really 'mine'. I also appreciate the amount of money you can save just by doing the work yourself, and being the frugal individual I am I see myself stopping by here to get folks' opinions on common issues Cruze owners face. I'm pretty bad with cars in general, at least understanding them, so your patience is appreciated.

Hope to see ya'll around!

I think I finally found a decent h13 led headlight bulb, and I should know because I've tried 15 different ones and the prime leds off Amazon are the best.

How do I replace the blower motor resistor?

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue installing a blower motor resistor to my 2013 Cruze LT. I've removed the panel under the passenger side dash and can see the blower motor. My problem is I can't tell where the blower motor resistor is at. Does anyone know of an instructional video that details how to remove and replace the blower motor resistor?

My son recently graduated from college with a Business Admin degree, he worked so hard to get that BS degree, his mother and I worked very hard to help him achieve that goal.

Helped him sell his college car, 2005 Pontiac Vibe, 151k miles, never let him down but was quirky at times as most any older car would be with lots of miles.

Helped him purchase his new 17 Malibu LT, listed for 27,300 his price was 20,275. So proud of him and how hard he worked to make that possible. Very nice car. I negotiated the deal or helped him, tried to teach him so next time I can step completely aside. Very proud dad and thankful for being able to share it with him.

Also a big thanks to Hare Chevrolet, they did a great job. They had the car looking amazing and addressed every concern we had, appreciate it when a dealer treats you well.

Got those 7 different codes related to the high mount brake light water leak the other day so I decided to pull off the trunk floor board and I found this. Every once in a while I'd get in the car and it would smell like mildew and I had no idea where it was coming from until today. This is ridiculous because the dealership already completed the protocol for the brake light recall. Apparently there's some other way the water is getting inside.

Late this spring, I decided I had to have a 2.0CTD. I could do the fun diesel mod stuff on an economical platform for a change.
I kept looking and looking for a well kept car, preferably rainforest green, with less than $10k on the pricetag and 100k on the odometer.
Closest I came was a $9800/93k/2014 at a no-haggle dealer in Ohio. They sold it a day or two after I saw the ad.

As so easily happens to frustrated buyers, after trying to buy a car for a couple of months, even bidding on cars at dealer wholesale auctions but getting outbid by 10% or less, I ignored my very strict price limits and got in a bidding war that resulted in me owning a car. In this case, not an old green diesel but a new black LT with RS package.

Hello from China

Hey there,

i am originally from Germany, but living in Shanghai, China for over 3 years now. I was always a car guy and for the last 3 years i missed that a lot.
So i just ordered the 2018 Cruze and can't wait to lay my hands on. As you might guess the Chinese model is a bit different than the North American model. For example on the pro-side: the 1.4 Turbo comes standard with a 7-gear double-clutch automatic transmission. On the contra-side: no RS package.

Im looking forward to merge the best of both worlds into my Cruze, with some assistance from the folks and information provided here. Likewise i am also happy to answer your questions regarding the Chinese models and their deviations.

Will this fit mine? (Trunk switch)

2017 Stops running when left idling?

I owneda 2012 Cruze Eco which I bought new in July of 2012. I travel with a dog andleave him in the car with the engine running and the AC on. Did this with twopreviously owned Cavilers also. In April this year I bought a 2017 Cruze hatch. This car has keyless start (but not remote start) and manual transmission. I have left oneof the key transmitters in the glove compartment in the hope that by doing so the car would recognize that I was in it. This car has stopped running three or fourtimes after it was left idling with AC on. It seems to shut itself off after about two hours. This was never a problem with the2012 or the Cavilers. The shut down seems to be related to the time it has beenleft to idle. Any suggestions as to what is happening andif there is a solution?

Mylink questions-Pandora app not working

I just finished the install and have a few questions.

The Pandora and stitches radio dont light up. Do I need to do something to make them work? I have pandora on my phone and when connected to the car it will stream pandora through bluetooth but not through the app on the radio.

The guys at MVI sent me the wrong USB cable so I have the one side disconnected, will this do anything to the radio function?

Cruze + Shift Improver Kit? || Trans Issues

$

Hi All,

My car: 12 Cruze LS 1.8L 105k miles. Trifecta + Amsoil trans fluid + 93 octane fuel.

My trans has a mind of its own.. some days it will shift like brand new and other days it will jerk like a mother. I had the car and this issue since 40k miles and I'm now at 105k miles. I've changed (flushed) the trans fluid and am using Trifecta's tune. It's better than what it used to be fore sure, but it still can be annoying. Especially considering some times it can shift perfect, and other times its rough, why can't it always be perfect?? (or at least smooth) If I do some manual shifting, that tcm seems to 'reset' itself and drives real nice for a while, but then goes back to normal.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Need a new trans (dealer inspected a while ago and said this behavior is expected...)? Anyone try a 'shift improver kit'? Should I get a dealer tune-up and replace the trifecta?

Any help is greatly appreciated! The car runs great and I plan to keep it for a while, just want it to be a pleasure to drive, which it's not with this trans!!

Factory Pioneer Amp Speaker Wire Diagram??

I have a 2012 Cruze LTZ RS that has the Pioneer System in it. I am in the planning and gathering equipment stage of doing a SQ system. My plans are to use Vifa / Silver Flute combo. MiniDC / miniDSP. AudioControl LC2i. Keenwood x801-5. JL Audio 12w3 Sub. All KnuKonceptz Wire.

My plans is to install LOC, miniDSP/DC and the amp inside the trunk. Seems easier to do this I guess. Here is my question you all of you. Which 2 speakers do I want to use (tap into / splice into) before the factory amp? Do I need to use the full range speakers? Front left and right speakers? Since I have the 2 6x9 speakers in the rear deck should I tap into those for the sub? Just need to know which 4 wires to use that I will connect to my LC2i LOC. 1 set will go into the miniDSP and the rear set will go to the 5th channel for my sub? I have pics of my factory amp. I for some wiring diagrams but they were for the NON Pioneer system. The other diagrams I found are too blurry and cant read.

P.S. I got my Silver Flutes today and OMG they are MASSIVE! XTR Thanks for all your help!

Please help! Amp install; PAC AA-GM44

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to install an amplifier in my 2015 cruze. I have all the wires ran, the amp is all set up and powers on, I just need to figure out the RCA cables and the remote wire. I purchased a PAC AA-GM44 with the understanding that this would give me RCA outputs for my stereo so that I could connect my amp to the stereo.

Problem is, I can't figure out how to install the PAC correctly. I know it connects to my normal wiring harness, then to the back of my stereo. There's another piece to the adapter, which i can't figure out. I tried hooking the RCAs up and tested the amp but there's clearly no audio signal getting to the amp. There are 3 unused wires at the same end of the PAC as the RCAs. I'm guessing I need to do something with those but I really need someone that knows how this is supposed to be set up.

The first picture attached is the stock image of the PAC AA-GM44 that I have. The second is a picture of the wires of the PAC that I can't figure out.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.PAC AA-GM44.jpgPAC AA-GM44 Problem.jpg
